I want heated grips! I bought a set a while back but couldn't make them work with the clips. I should try again now that I have the handlebars.

I hear you on traffic although mine's not overly terrible. I went with a sport clutch that's 10% stiffer than stock and compounded the issue by going with shorty levers. I love the feel but when traffic is crawling it's not a lot of fun.

So far, I hate sand and wet leaves on the road, open steel grates and metal road plates. Also, be careful of the road paint in some states. NY uses epoxy for paint and it has round glass beads in it for reflectivity. It is literally like driving on glass. The cross walks are the same way so be careful if you're ever out that way.

Oh well, better to find out now rather than packing up, moving here and figuring it out then.

Yeah my bike is water cooled. Either my temp gauge is fucked up, or the radiator is REALLY effective. Very rarely does it pass "C". Probably because it's so cold out, it exchanges heat like crazy.

Off from work, time to head home (after dropping the bike off at my moms house). Gonna see the new Metallica movie with Sarah tonight!

Lol good point. Is there any way to get to the bulb from the front? I started peeling silicone off and i figured i would ask before i take the lens off. Plan is to take a die grinder to the jb weld at work tomorrow

You can, but it'd require completely undoing the entire retrofit job. As you can tell, I JB Welded the shit out of those things to make sure the projectors remained secure in the housings. The lenses are only silicone in place, so they will come off but re-attaching them isn't fun. You'd have to completely strip the silicone without damaging the paint and reattach the lens. The shroud is JB welded to the housing also so that would not come off easily to get at the front of the projector without irreversible damage. After all that, you MIGHT be able to get the front of the projectors off. They aren't open like the typical projectors, they're completely closed and the fronts clip onto the body but the clips might still be in the JB Welded part. I gotta ask, what are you trying to do?

I didn't really build those things to come apart, ever

Fill me in on how that is, thinking about it myself. About as close as I will probably ever come again to seeing them now for a few reasons..

I did buy the soundtrack to it this week. So far so good, been more jamming out to the new Municipal Waste disc..

Oh and just got home from Joe Satriani...

It was awesome! But it'll leave you asking "what the fuck was in the bag!?"

And make sure you sit through the credits.
