Just curious, how long did you have to wait after you ordered it?

    I wanted an MT.
I tried to negoiate a price on a new Superwhite access cab TRD Sport package, they wanted 31,164 and would not budge off the price...The sales guy told me that if I would not buy it at sticker price, that someone would....He said he didn't have to come off the price...and that he wouldn't come off the price...I didn't buy it, and I quit answering his calls 2 days later...I am sure that it is getting towards the end of the month he is starting to sweat a bit.

Man!!!, these trucks are really getting crazy expensive!!! I cant believe people are paying over 30,000 for a compact Toyota pickup. People are starting to forget that these vehicles are trucks on budget. At least that's what everyone tells me. At these prices, a Lexus isn't that far off.

PS- my buddy paid 24,000+TTL for his 2006 Tacoma sr5 Long Bed Double Cab tow package new!!! Its nice, but not 34,000 nice!

seems to me these trucks aren't the only thing getting expensive... as the value of the dollar decreases, up goes the dollar amount required to get the same thing you could have gotten in 2006

2014 4x4 dcsb trd offroad. Sticker was 34,500. The truck was still wrapped in plastic. I paid a $1,000 over invoice. So the total was 32,250 plus ttl.

Then I added a roof rack, skid plate, avid bar, bed rack, cargo rack, color matched grill, black rock 909b rims, with goodyear wrangler AT's, Tacoma banner, toytec 3 inch coils, 5100's, dakar leaf pack, 5160's, took off the mud flaps, added a tundra 4x4 badge, plasti dipped all my badges, put on a short TRD antenna, and the rock sliders are painted and will be welded on monday. Its been a busy week and a half.

Sticker on mine was 35 something. I got it 500 over invoice and its has all the stupid bells and whistles on it. Didn't care about nav but it has it along with the gay exhaust tip and door sills. Oh yeah its a 4x4 because I woudn't sleep at night around here if all the men didn't think I was one too.

why would you put a tundra badge on a taco?

Edit: Now that I think more about it, are you saying you added the "4x4" part of the Tundra badge to your taco? If so whats the difference?

Well congrats to all you new '14 owners. How did the trade prices go with those of you who traded in a taco for a taco?

Not a Taco but horrible. I wanted to trade a 2010 FX4. Wanted a 2013 DBL CAB TRD which they wouldnt budge on either. I walked out took my truck to a Ford dealer told them I just want to sell it to them. 24k no hassle. Went to different Toyota dealer bought a 2014 TRD. Might have just been my first dealer, not sure. Seems like Tacomas trade well though, the only reason I bought a 2014 was the 2013, even 2012 used models were so close in price to 2014.

Picked up my '14 DCSB 4x4 TRD Off-road auto with tow package for $30977 + tax on 9/28. No dealer or doc fees. Cannot believe I paid so much for a vehicle but after only 200 miles I wouldn't turn back. Don't think I have ever owned a vehicle that stayed stock for long. So bring on the mods.
