Anyone know anything aboot generators? My mother is looking to buy one. She needs one for a sump pump, maybe to plug her fridge in during extended outages. Something easy to start.

I'm only used to the big models that we use on job sites that are always a bitch to start and heavy as hell lol

my parents just got a new honda one for camping - its nice. about 2/3 the weight of their old one and more power too. easy to start, still a pull cord, but its really easy and doesn't take much strength to get it going. gimme a sec...
I think this is hte one they got...

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
    Honda eu3000i for a 3k, eu2000i for a 2k or eu1000i for a 1k

Stupid expensive for peak power, but they are amazingly reliable and have amazing fuel economy... highly recommended.

every UAV job I've had ran the honda 3k or 2k generators...

     Got a small package in the mail today. Didn't recognize the name or address. Hadn't ordered anything.... Opened it up and there was the wallet I had lost back in March in Van Horn Texas. I thought I'd never see my wallet again!!! The cash is gone, but my credit cards, receipts, and misc cards are all there. :yay: It's nice to know it's not floating around out there anymore...

No note, just the wallet. Probably didn't write a note since he/she did take the cash. I did get a couple of things back that I really wanted....

I just said to someone the other day, I didn't think I'd ever see it again. This was the first time and hopefully the last time. Really sucks to lose a wallet, especially when on vacation, 2000 miles from home .

I'm almost wondering if the person was a snow bird... found it back then, forgot about it, and found it again, when getting ready to head south again :notsure:

Nice on the wallet Susan, too bad they took the cash, Hope it wasn't a lot. Leaves are still mostly green here, but probably not for long. It's been getting chilly at night for a few weeks now. I'm running low on maple syrup, guess I'll have to head north pretty soon to get some. (totally random post)!
