Yeah was headed to Cabela's to check it out. I was not really that impressed. They had a real nice PPK in stainless though. I am thinking its just the right size for the wife.

And Sean I was driving a bit slow but I seem to have developed a pretty good vibe in the front between 50-60 at the moment. I am hoping a wheel is not bent. Otherwise some Method Race Wheels might be in the near future. :)

The funny part is that's actually the worst trail damage I've had! *knocks on wood*

I still have no clue what that big guy was thinking. When I was walking back to the truck he had his head all the way in the window and I was sure he was going to sample the steering wheel next!

I thought Cole was going to jump on one and finish the trail on horseback haha.

That horse was hanging out near us (there were a few others there too) and while my wife was taking pictures of him he bit the top of my bedside! Took a little chunk out of the plastic and scratched the paint to the metal! He was super friendly, but I'm not sure what he thought he was going to get from that. As I was spotting further up the trail he had his whole head in my cab and I was afraid he was going to nibble on stuff in there!

His bite was the worst trail damage of the day.

    Pony!

Actually...my dads tundra has a big scratch on the fender where my horse bit it  of course she was so broke that she didn't stop whe we yelled or honked the horn. Lol. It's their way of testing things. First they smell, then they "lip" it, then bite with teeth. She did it too the cat too and he didn't appreciate it

That horse biting incident reminds me of the time a mounted police horse (is that what they want us to call them these days?) bit my wife while we were checking out the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. I told her not to pet that horse but do you think she would listen to me? Hell nah! Serves her right. :D

Story: We were hanging out on one of out trips to DC doing the touristy things. Checking out the White House with my cousin James who is retired special forces marines and one of the badest mofo's that I happen to know. He's doing some sort of special contract ninja shit now that I'm not even at liberty to discuss. Needless to say he gets us into all the cool places when we go out to stay with him. So we're getting up close and person with the White House when my wife spots this horse with a cop on the back. He's jack jacking to a city cop to his right as we approach from the left. She asks the LEO if she can pet his horse despite me telling her multiple times not even to ask because it's a horrible idea. She goes right on about her bidness and the LEO ignores her.

Me: Welp, there's your answer. Let's roll.

Her: *silent as she takes it upon herself to pet the fucking horse anyway*

Fast forward about 10 seconds and she's petting the horses nose. The horse sort of brushes her hand away with a sideways head motion. Now I'm not the fucking horse whisperer but I've spent some time with horses on my days growing up on the farm/ranch in Nebraska. That there is the horse confirming my original assumption that this whole thing was a bad idea.

Me: See? He doesn't want to be pet. Let's go do something away from giant unruly animals that have already let their disdain for a presence be known.

Her: *Not a fucking word as she goes in for a 2nd pet*

It's about this time that I see the horse turn his head and grab her pinky finger. Startled, she pulls her hand away but can't since the horse has her finger trapped between it's teeth. As she pulls the horse bites down harder and she screams. It's about this time I'm coming from behind her with a doubled up fist about to reign an overhand right of Mike Tyson in his hay day proportions and right before I connect the LEO turns his head, sees what's unfolding and bops the horse on top of the head. The horse lets go and we start to walk away. The LEO asks me if I was about to punch his horse and I asked him if he should be paying better attention and not hitting on that female city cop on the clock as we walk away and he doesn't say another word.

    'Murika!

Shoot... It should at least be PonyMan. Aren't you supposed to get super powers when a critter bites you?

See, you save about $4 at the pump every time you fill up, but I have saved 30+ minutes over the course of a tank by driving faster. My time is worth more than $8/hour. Boom. Science. :p

On another note - doesn't anyone want to get another big TW run ok before the season is over?
