Mounted up my winter tires. I went from a 265 to 245 last year and liked the performance of skinnier tire. Since I put the level kit on I wanted something taller and figured I'd go a little narrower. 235/85R16 Nokian Hakka LT2 studded. Give me your best shot old man winter!

Little hard to see but the stud is actually a square shape, for better contact with the ice. A noticeable improvement over the standard 40 year old design.

Thanks! Pretty good use of a winch too if I do say so myself.

They are old missile boxes. I got them through Sportsmans Warehouse, but they aren't on the site anymore. I want to say they are 48" long by roughly 12" wide and tall. I can go measure them in a bit when the rain and wind stops. Being a wuss about the weather at the moment.

Unbeatable performance with this snow tire! Good choice! ;) And nice size, too! (235/85R16) More pressure per square inch! Like you said, bring it on "old man winter!" :p

    Bone stock. For now.
I am painting my other set of factory wheels right now (well, taking a break from it anyways). I just order a set of Bilstein 5100's from wheelersoffroad.com and some 265/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers! Woohoo!!

^which leaf pack are you running?

edit: nevermind. Found it in your build. I'm trying to add shackles to my dakars but need the right bushings for them. Allpro says their shackles won't fit anything but their springs.

We were having this discussion last night in the ID bs thread.

They will work unless your Alcan spring hole is different than the AP spring hole. The AP shackles are designed to fit stock shackles hangers. I measured the AP bushings OD 1.5" with 3/4" (18mm) hole. So if your Dakar spring holes are 1.5" ID X 2 1/4" wide, then you will be able to put the new bushings and bolts in and the kit will work

Washed the truck inside and out and put new windshield wipers on it finally.

I think my fuel gauge has quit on me. It's been at half a tank for a long time. But it also went from full to 3/4 full in 20 miles, so maybe it's just readjusting?

Crap, could be! I don't think it's ever been changed!

Question though, how does a fuel pump effect your gauge?

The float on the fuel pump tells your gauge how much fuel you have
