    Got around to a nice wash this weekend! Trying to talk my roommate into some mods for his black Taco in the background.

    Anyone know if there is the duplicolor all-in-one paint pen for Impulse Red?

    Yes there is, I bought one 2weeks ago. I work at AutoZone and they had one on the shelf. It's 14.99 but has the pen deal, brush and clear coat. Pretty neat. Part number is BTY1609

    I have the pen/brush duplicolor from Autozone, did not quite match so I went to the Toyota dealership. The one from the dealer matches much better. It is also about the same price.

    Discount tire has a layaway plan. That's how I got my tires. Paid 200 down, then the rest in payments. I ended up forking out 400 when I got there, needed tires bad. Call them up, they can help you out. :)

    Solved the wheel/tire problem last week. I was ordering new tires for my wife's Venza from Tire Rack and wound up buying a set of gunmetal/machined Dick Cepek Torque wheels in 16x8. I was going to just swap the tires (new when I bought the truck) but when I fessed up to my wife that I bought the wheels she asked why I didn't just buy tires too.... So I called back and ordered some 265/70/16 General Grabber HTS' to go on the new wheels. I was tempted to go with Grabber AT2's like I had on a previous truck but I do a lot of highway driving and my idea of off roading these days is class 6 roads. The tires are smooth as can be and I'm still getting over 21mpg.

    That's a great wife!! Haha! Well glad you got some tires, I think I might invest in a new set of rims and tires strictly for highway. Right now I'm getting about 17mpg on a good day. If I wad closer to 20 I would be ok. I used to get closer to 24 when I was stock, but that changed real quick after I got mine lol

    Is there such a thing as truck porn?! I have a 2013 Access cab but I really miss the impulse red color and overall look of my previous 2001 extra cab. Too bad I only got 12 years and 140k miles out of it or I'd still be driving it. I'll be the first to say that the sharp angles of the new models are just plain ugly to me. Oh well, an ugly truck is better than no truck, right?
