NFL Trash Talkers Thread

So, my attempt at talking about the catch was to bring a little discussion to this thread because frankly, it blows. The trash talking is a weak and when it gets turned up people get so angry they bail and run away, complain, whine, cry .. etc.

The NHL thread has friendly trash talk, trash talk and good discussion about the NHL in general. It's more of a NHL Discussion and trash talk thread.

We should be able to be passionate about our teams but still talk about football as well.

 

Well if you put it that way, then yea your post was effective. Because it did generate conversation

 

Its still early in the season, so maybe not that much material out there. Give it a few weeks and there will be plenty to talk about.

MNF should be a good game. I like the Dolphins story so far. Tannehill looks promising. But I still think the 'Aints will win it.

 

What do you mean 400k for a seat license??

You have to pay for the right to buy season tickets. Like real estate. For the cheapest nosebleeds its like 10k per seat, and then you still have to buy tickets, that are 2x as expensive as candlestick. But you have to pay the real estate fee basically. So for good seats, I have Row B on 30-35yd line the equivalent seats are like 360-400k for all 4 seat licenses, and then tickets go from 5k a year to 10k a year. I spent like $20k last year between tickets, parking, playoffs, and the superbowl.

On a side note, glad to see Houston holding up against the Seahawks, but I hope the Seahawks tire them down a bit for next week when they come to the stick!

 

Man, the steelers get some pretty good plays and momentum and then nothing.. every time.

Road game against a top AFC team and a 10:00AM start. Elite teams go 14-2 or 13-3 in a season. This is the type of game that those losses come in. Not to mention Houston being embarrassed last week.

I'd love a win but with 4 starting offensive line out ...

Damn. I actually liked the Hawks last year. But, after this thread, and all the 'Hawks fans, I changed my mind.

 

It's ok I get it. You're used to the fair weather no passion fans in Atlanta that give up on their team before the game even starts.

 

Or he doesnt like the bandwagonners jumping to Seattle
