Haha, I got a different student to get some better pictures on Friday but was in a hurry to get out of there and forgot to grab them.

 

Speaking of pictures, thought this was a cool picture I caught tonight and posted on Instagram.

 

i should be able to get some better ones tomorrow. girlfriend mailed me my gopro, and it should be here tomorrow. tried strapping my 1SQ to the phantom to take some pictures with the built in camera on the mini guy, but fly with the phantom......turns out the wireless signal that triggers the camera messes with the phantom when they are so close to each other.

No, that's from the target parking lot just around the corner from my shop. I went out to the car to get my wifes coupons and saw that. Thought it made for a cool picture. Not as good though in an expanded view when seen here on a laptop or pc versus a smart phone.

Has any here thought of adding a camper cap on their truck and adding extra seats on the bed. I'm seriously considering it, and doing some custom vent for a/c. Nothing too fancy or expensive, just to have 2 more seat capacity occasionally.

 

I saw a build thread where someone had a set up like that. Can't remember who it was though. It was a pretty slick set up. He had everything mounted to a piece of plywood or something so he could just slide the whole thing out when he needed the cargo space.

Surgeons at a hospital in China have grown a new nose on the forehead of a man who injured his original honker in a car accident, according to Reuters.
The operation -- which at first glance resembles a Mr. Potato Head toy gone wrong -- requires doctors to place a skin tissue expander on the man's forehead, cut it into the shape of a nose, and plant a piece of cartilage removed from his ribs. The medical team hopes to complete the transplant surgery soon.
