I would make sure that it is prerunner....if not then take it back to the dealer and make them make it prerunner. Tell them you want what you paid for....haha

So wait I got lost is your truck an actual 4X4 or is it a PreRunner? Hopefully it's a 4X4 which is what you wanted and if not tell them that they screwed up and you want a new truck! :D

Is this truck an 07? You never noticed this until now?

What is going on with the tailgate handle in that picture?

Have you verified the vin on the tailgate matches the vin on the windsheild (lower left)? Seems very likely that the tailgate was replaced by someone too dumb or lazy to remove the badging. I find it hard to believe the factory messed up on this...but I guess there is always that chance.

Regardless, get that damn badge off there because it indicates your truck is less than what it really is.

I have 3 4x4's and a 6x6. At one point, all I had was 4x4's, 5 of them. I have always had 4x4's, and the Prerunner I have is my first 4x2. My buddies have been calling me "4x4" since 1997, and I feel no need to change my name for having 1 4x2. :)

Being as my other daily driver was only in 4wd 3 times in 2 years, I just didnt need it. The Prerunner is perfect for what I need it for, and for the off roading I do with it. Im not changing my screen name, as I have more 4x4's than most people on this board.

Wow... that's strange. I'd ask the dealer, b/c the Prerunner badge def. shouldn't be there on a 4x4 truck.

I hope he didn't charge you for a 'prerunner package' or something!
