Picked it up for a $1000 used. I had been looking for one for a couple weeks and one popped up on CL. I had to drive 4 hours to pick it up though.

It has the Yakima roof rack on it but plan to put a Frontrunner up there. THe shell has the sportsman package so it has a 400 lb weight rating.

Funny, I was just looking around the forum for some trail runs. Let me google this Bullfrog and I will get back with you.

Yea, well the CV's would break if it were to have CV's. Might go with something a little more 'solid'

Cool thing about the whole cougar buttes area is its open land and if there's a certain obstacle you don't want to do you can go around it. You can make the run as easy or as hard as you want to. There are other trails that criss cross the bullfrog trail. And they are named cake walk, hammer down, and hard rock trail. Also a great place for camping and not to far from the hammers.

Gentleman, when I talk about all of this, you have to realize that this is years and years down the road. The solid axle is a maybe. The diesel is a definite when I move back from North Carolina. I will be in North Carolina anywhere from 3 to 6 years. So that means another 2 to 4 or maybe even 5 deployments. That's some serious cash right there. If I get selected to be an officer, then it is game on for the solid axle but for now, I am pleased with the performance of the rig.

Hell, I was talking about 2" kit a few years back when All-Pro was just starting to introduce their kit. Took me nearly 2 years and some decision changing to get to where I wanted it.

Well, *fingers crossed* hopefully toyota decides to bring their diesel to the US because of all of the big American companies putting diesels in smaller vehicles. That will bring the price down a little.

How is the front runner roof rack holding up? I'm on the fence between that or the bajarack roof rack. The plan is to eventually get a RTT to sit on top of it. The website says the front runner can handle 660lbs! Is that accurate? If so, that thing must be BEEF!

Gotta love those meats. I had to get my truck re-aligned about 2 weeks ago. Now I am rubbing on the cab mounts again. I am going to take it back and move those tires back forward so no more rubbing.
