My camber issue has nothing to due with my arms, the first two weeks i had the arms on the camber and all the geometry was fine and worked great. Then after a few hard offroading trips it got all wacky again. I think the upper ball joints blew out prematurly.. They dont over extend though so ill have to take em back to advanced auto. And all you haters saying my kit is crap, it has held for a month so far, of hard offroading and every day driving. Its all wrapped in 3/16 cold rolled, the upper arms have an inch thick rod in them, that boxing was just to hide the ugly rod and the lowers are cut and extended exactly 3 inches. The kit is working great and rides way better then my old fabtech kit. I need more rebound damping but besides that my kit works. Fuck the haters

Hahah no but i bet if the owner of that picture filled that gap in with more material, then plated it, it would be as strong as any kit

    ...too much shit to list.
Look man I'll give you props for trying to make your own kit. I think everyone's first own personal LT kit is to extend stock geometry. But seriously, for the sake of your truck and everyone else in the vicinity of your atom bomb of a truck, spend some time developing a real kit and developing your skills. The looks of a weld mean nothing to me. Good welders make strong welds, great welders make strong welds that look good. I'm not gonna sugar coat it, you have neither.
Get some trigger time, take a physics class, and start from scratch. You're not going to he any empathy from people here with a kit and an attitude like yours.

Yeah your deff right, once i get welding cleaner and have the money then ill make a completely brand new kit from scratch with with uniballs instead of balljoints and heim frame pivots and coilovers. But for now my kit is working great. Ive jumped it, bottomed it out smashed it all that good stuff and its holding up fine. Its way stronger then that fabtech bullshit. I dont have a bad attitude just sick of people thinking i need a fully custom race car kit. Its a home built PRERUNNER not a racetruck.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddd I see what everyone is talking about. You listen to no one. People in here are literally looking out for yours and other peoples lives and the only thing you are concerned about are the haters who think you are trying to build a race truck. Trust me ......... NO ONE has even considered the rational though of YOU trying to build a race truck. Why don't you grow tha fuck up. I really feel kinda childish for even commenting back to you but you are just sad dude. Real talk BRO. Learn how to properly and safely fabricate stuff and keep your experiments in a controlled environment where the possibility of anyone else getting hurt is kept to a minimum. Then, through trial and error and once you have gained enough confidence in your abilities, go out to the dessert and huck your shit, alone, and see if you are as good a fabricator as you think you may be.

A PRERUNNER huh? Who are you prerunning for ? What race are you prerunning? Theres only a few actual prerunners on this site. You've never seen one of them, much less own one. Go away.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.

Sweet, so far so good. Last test is to detonate a stick of dynamite on each arm. If they survive that, you're good.

I used to live in orange county and was big into the desert racing scene my dad worked for wide open racing and had a few trucks of his own. Ive seen trucks, worked on trucks, driven trucks and been to glamis, jaw bone, etc. and my truck is safe, hasnt broken yet. How is it not safe?

It's not safe because you've extended stock components which subjects them to far more stress than they were designed to take. On top of that, you're running the truck hard which just compounds the issue. Additionally, the welds used to put everything together aren't exactly 'high quality'. The people here and DR have seemed to try to give you some advice on how to better your kit but you don't seem to want to hear it. The idea is generally to build up a kit that won't have a catestrophic failure, which means you should want to better your design. You've made your own LT kit, great, now work on making it even better and not prone to breakage.

it hasnt broken yet, and if it does, i'll rebuild it.......kinda hard to rebuild when you end up a vegetable. or do you mean rebuild with a wheelchair accessible cab? you seem to think that if it fails, youre just gonna coast to a stop. most folks take a class in welding or at the very minimum learn how to weld making bumpers, braces, gussets. small things to hone in the skill. you went full retard and decided to build something thats so critical on a truck. might as well make your own motor mounts, calipers and steering rack. im sure youll find the parts at your local hardware store.
