I'm not sure, it's probably a lesser model. I know the Hyundai is only a 4 banger.

Not to keep the dorm a/c bs going but maybe the school uses that dorm in summer for housing. Maybe summer classes, or helping local youth groups

Clarkson had summer groups and summer school that stayed in the dorms. Still think if the dorms are too comfy, the kids won't leave. Air condition the library and common spaces, force them outside!

UMass never had any A/C in the dorms and would turn the heat up to 85 in the winter, always felt bad opening the windows in a blizzard because I was sweating in basketball shorts and a t-shirt. I don't mind dorms not having A/C, as an engineer I was only in my room to do the three "S"s. What bothered me and still does was having class in a room without A/C. All my engineering classes were in an old building that only had heat; once the maintenance dept. decided it was time to turn the heat on (first cold day in September) it stayed on until April, regardless of the typical warm October days.

Making 50 kids sit in a room with absurd heat because they have no A/C or control over a thermostat bothered me. I have to try and pay attention and take notes, not deal with keeping myself cool.

And while we are on the topic, the foreign math and physics professors & TA's really annoyed the shit out of me. I understand half of the schools tuition was subsidized for foreign enrollment and meeting affirmative action requirements, but at the cost of a typical middle class kid trying to understand lectures and learn something?

Meh, I don't follow TV shows, never have. I like shows that begin and end within the allotted hour, not one that I have to watch week to week. The only show I'll make an effort to watch is Top Gear, the BBC one.

I am the same way. I never watch series like this. My girlfiend does and i just browse TW on my phone the whole time haha. But now i have streaming netflix on my TV so we decided to start watching breaking bad, it has consumed my life the past 2-3 weeks. It really is worth watching.

I am not a TV guy BUT , If you have Comcast on demand. Get on the BBCAmerica network & check out "Orphan Black" . First rate series. We went through the season in one week . My kids just bought season one streamed from Amazon. They don't have a TV. "Orphan Black" is on par with the old HBO series "The Wire" . check that one out too if you want quality tv .Not the normal network crap thats on every night.
    just my .02 worth.

Very rare for me to get into shows with that structure. The last one that really pulled me in was 24. I am also addicted to Walking Dead. Generally speaking, I refuse to let the TV rule my schedule and if I do want to see something that badly and I'm not home I just tape it.
