I'm ready to go back to sleep too. Didn't sleep for crap last night.

What big projects do you have left Chris? And how was Corbin for you this weekend Adam?

Doesn't help that it rains here all the time... and the people who have lived here for years still don't know how to drive in the rain. I think I counted 8 accidents (fender benders) on my 25 mile commute today.

Oh, also hit 50k on my truck Saturday night :(

He was really good. A little fussy on Sunday and didn't want to take a nap, but overall not bad. I didn't get anything done though because I had to keep a fairly close eye on him now that he is attempting to be mobile.

My '06 I sold in December had only 40k on it. This '09 I picked up at the same time only had 36k when I bought it. I did 14k in 10 months :(. But I guess I did a lot of driving with it. 2k miles out here plus commuting from my in-laws to work for 3 weeks. Driving to my parents and back plus all the extra stuff I have done as of late.

 8 seems like a lot! Too much even. Been really rainy and windy here too - I was surprised that some people were finally slowing down yesterday. Doesn't help that its getting colder and the bridges could be freezing. Some people just don't think.
Saw a wreck last night - some guy was towing a flatbed trailer with junk vehicles and it was flopped on its side laying across both lanes of hte highway. The truck was fine though - it was still upright and in the ditch - so I think the trailer came unhitched quickly. I'm guessing an animal ran across the road, someone hit their brakes to avoid it and this guy was behind them and started to jackknife when he hit his brakes.

    duct tape

LOL driving like shit is universal for everywhere. I love it when we get a little snow/ice here and all the northerners are like "heh stupid texans can't drive in the snow look at all those wrecks, hur dur" Meanwhile they are skidding uncontrollably across their lakes hitting moose and shit

LOL Mackenzie is getting good with her walker and whizzes around the tile floors pretty good now. The cats stay on the carpet when she's in it

Smaller projects on the boards right now, another flag job, but this one will be easier, it's a small patio, take out the old flag, move a small fountain, excavate, pour a pad, sand, thick flag then mortar it in. I have three leaks at the same client's house, I have to send him an email this morning outlining my plan of attack.

I rested and went to a grueling ride yesterday, a fairly stiff wind on the nose for the last 13 miles made my legs howl in pain, today is chores around the house and getting seed, fine mulch and fert for some turf resto tomorrow.

Once they get mobile ZIP!, they're gone!

I grew up in Oregon in the rain and ice. Moved to Kansas with the ice and snow, and now in Washington. I can officially say, Oregon drivers are the best so far. Strikes against WA are... 1. They don't understand the left lane is for people going faster than the speed limit. 2. They don't know how to drive in the rain when its wet 8 months a year and 3... People merge constantly without looking, thinking the other person will just move. Bitch, I am not a nice person and I won't let people just merge into my lane without a nice long turn signal.

Levi still is practicing sitting up. He almost has it down though. He knows how to scoot around on his belly if he wants to get something. He'll be crawling by November I am sure. He is also starting to "talk." He says "dada" fairly well these days.

Saw a insignificant Prius-on-Prius wreck on 99 this morning. Zero damage except to driving egos.

We might have to look into one of those walkers.

Corbin should be crawling by then as well. He can get up on all 4's but then isn't quite sure what to do. The other problem is that he can't get any grip on the wood floors.

The worst wreck I saw was on my way up to Bellingham. 18 wheeler took a nose dive off the median. No injuries. Cab looked fine, the rear end looked like an accordion though. Whats for lunch?
I have a few blankets I bought in the middle east we lay on the floors for Levi. He will sit there and roll over to find his spot. Then if his toy is a few feet away, he will roll side to side and eventually squirm his way to it.
