    yeah it was. and x2, i think he just needed to go faster. the front side/start of the hole, was steep as hell, but the other side was not very steep, so i think he could have made it.

    Ok my antenna is connected to my bed rail and I've got a 6 gauge wire going from it (the mount) to the frame right under my rear door. Coaxial is going from bed under the truck up and into the cab to the cb. Not much extra and what is there is stretched out. I'm getting high swr's. like 3.5 and its not coming down much. I used a fuse tap to my rear windows (not used) and its grounded right behind the kick panel. Anyone have any ideas?

    fun times can come from ramming holes you have never been in before. both on the trail and bedroom. just make sure none of the hole have any diseases before you even get close.

    Take that kick panel ground directly to the battery. Is your tip tunable? Where are you trying to tune it at? If its in your driveway then chances are its gonna read high because of all the objects around

    I'll run the ground there tomorrow. I didn't think that really mattered though as long as it was grounded :confused: and yes on the driveway but I figured I could still at least see some results. And yes the tip is tunable.

    1911 came by (I'm borrowing his swr meter) and helped me and we still couldn't get much of a change.
