Safer than the others that inject directly into the intake

 

I use seafoam all the time and never once had an issue with it. Just follow the directions correctly and it will do the trick.

 

noob question what exactly is it used for? Just to clean stuff?

 

Cleans everything internally. Also really fun to watch insane amounts of smoke come out of the exhaust. At my house if it has a motor it gets sea foamed at least once a year.

Do not do it this way as it will not atomize correctly for EFI motors and has a higher potential of bending rods/hydro-locking the motor. Had a rod to prove this issue after doing an additive that injected via vacuum method.

Can't you also put it in your oil? I heard you put it in about 75 miles before an oil change

And why the hate

 

first-blew front diff
second-broke cv axle
3rd-took me 2 months to figure out why i was leaking oil out of my front diff, drove the seal in too far.
4th-need custom cv axles for my set up. follow links and direction by tons of different guys, bought all the parts, doesnt work because, well.. because no one really knew what they were talking about when they were trying to help me.
5th-now i need to find a place to make me just a custom cv shaft, or switch my whole system over to auto locking hubs.
