He was wrong initially for driving in an unsafe situation, regardless of who caused that unsafe condition, the rest is the biker's fault

One things for certain. Riding a motorcycle, I would *never* brake check a car.

I would classify the motorcyclists as thugs. Nothing more, nothing less.

THOSE motorcyclists, yes. The majority of motorcyclists anymore are businessmen and wear suits to work.

Just because they look like a hells angel, doesnt mean they are.

I just did mine last weekend and I can still smell the shop rags that were in the trash can for a day. I'm not sure which is worse, the trash or the gear oil smell! :D

I feel the same. I'm a motorcycle rider.. and I would even say Run Em Over! riding in groups that large, with stunting, no consideration for others on the road is unacceptable. It gives a bad rep for all of us responsible riders.

The whole argument of "Share the Road" Goes both ways.. Many groups of riders shouldn't need to be reminded of this.

They certainly don't look like Hell's Angels.

In any case, they're not getting much lovin' from other riders.

At least one was wearing a cut with 'New Rochelle MC'. One could assume that other clubs were present as well. Most of these 'Annual Rides' are multiple MC and groups of riders.

The big one has always been ROC, Ride of the Century. There was a HUGE one in St. Louis a couple years back. Same type of douchebaggery riding.

Because they are on those over powered bikes that have sudden quick acceleration. Like what a squid will do who wants to get away quickly from an attacker. They also dress to match the bike, sort of like how some squids will camouflage themselves to blend in.

ATGATT is All The Gear, All The Time. Typical squid behavior includes a lack of gear, riding 'style' is questionable (weaving through traffic, accelerating through the rev limiter). 'style' can often best be described as riding over your ability and doing things like passing on the double yellow or the inability to follow a line through a corner, riding like a tool when conditions warrant more care.

If you want to see one, wait for the first sunny day after a rain. If you're stuck in traffic on a motorcycle road, it's probably because one crashed.

The only time I rode 'questionably' is when I discovered my power band. On a curve. And almost hit the wall head on. :(

I ended up actually talking with my dad today about the whole thing, and decided that I would hold off on the mini for a while. Maybe the guy will decided to keep it for himself or after it sits for a longer time decide to sell it for even less, if he never realizes what he has.

Anyway, I found a MTB from a local shop that is offering me way to good of a deal to pass up on a sweet bike, so I'm going that route, going to start riding my road bike to work for a good while to save money to get the suspension done, then maybe by then the Mini seller will want to sell it for even less. I hope this plan works out as well as I hope it does.

I would get way better gas mileage on my bikes then in the mini any day.

I understand allowing to pass, but don't pick on a family with a young child. The news report says it started by him hitting someone, but I only skimmed through it. Either way, unlike most kids my age I never found an interest in riding motorcycles. Doesnt relate to this, just wanted to throw that out there

Pretty much formed my opinion on the whole thing when I read that sentence. It would appear the bikers were set on on hooligan shenanigans before they ever got out of the garage.
