I did the easier way too, I left my whole steering still attached and it only took about 15 minutes to pull out. There are pics somewhere in my build

Hows the cage coming along? I should really work on my engine cage but I have been too lazy lol

Well, when I started tearing things down, I thought I would be using a friends bender. That didn't work out, so I had to order a bender, which just arrived. So I'm going to try to set it up today and start getting serious, its just been a slow gong show trying to get stuff together.

Take your time, you will be glad you did. Have you used a bender yourself yet? There is a ton of info online on how to line things up and make test bends and mark them to make sure your bending in the exact spot you want. A wrong bend at the end of a piece is $$$. One thing I figured out is you can use your iphone level to find pretty much every angle in the truck and transfer to the tube to bend. Send me a a text when your trying to do it if you cant figure it out and I'll send some pics

They sell digital levels you can attach to a tube to make sure you bend on the same plane, but then I figured out with my phone and a sharpie I can do the same thing :)

Hmmm... I'll just do it the hard way for a while.
I'd have liked to go hydro, but its either too much right now, or it'll take too long to get here. Thanks for the info though

Amazing build Conman. Great to see a BC truck. I should be picking up a 98 white taco in the next couple of months from my dad in northern alberta.

I am hoping to do the truck up for back roading around here (northern vancouver island) lots of KM of logging roads out to the coast etc etc.

I might have to swing by if your up for it on my way back from alberta and check your truck out. I figure we can start working on my truck in a few months? Haha but seriously. Nice build!

    Chris,
