SA,TX Meet in July

whew - it is going to be hot as hell this weekend. I hope I can make it. I have a bike ride Saturday morning in Seguin. Don't have a tent yet. I will probably just come out there to see what ya'll are up to, and then head home before too long. I have a project car that will be coming home from getting a new timing belt on Friday. So, I will be itchin' to get that going. See you guys out there.

 

1.) redraider - bringing BBQ pit, patties, buns and hot dogs, and some beer 8:30am
2.) Drew02a (Andrew) - Potato Chips, Pretzels, and a lot of beer. (whatever else is needed) Possibly out
3.) EquinsuOcha - Chinese Chicken skewers, beer, Foreman grill, paper plates, plasticware, bacon for Saturday breakfast 8:30am
4.) Phynyx38 (Mike)- Potato salad, coleslaw, water, sodas, napkins, paper towels.
5.) TexasIslandBoy 8:30am
6.) thekidcatcher 8:30am
7.) drifter379 - eggs,bacon,tortillas,cheese,,camp stove. LONESTAR BEER!(duh!) LOTS OF WATER and ICE. 8:30am

We always need eggs. Everyone loves eggs.

 

Who all is meeting in Blanco? And did we decide on 6:30 as a good time?

 

Is there a particular spot in Blanco everyone is meeting and is it 6:30am? I will know today if I am coming. It is coming down to this or going deep sea fishing with my brother and cousin. If I can get off work Friday I am going fishing but if I cant I will be there.

 

I am going to be out of the meet this weekend. My sister-in-law is in the hospital, had back surgery and now they think she has an infection, so the wife and I will probably be spending the weekend with her. Sorry I won't be able to make it. I was looking forward to meeting and maybe hitting some trails.

Blanco has a town square that you can't miss, cause it looks like a scene from The Andy Griffith Show, and we could all meet up there. 6:30am is fine and it will leave us ample time to reach the ranch by 8:30.

I am for sure NOT going. Just got the green light that I am off work so I am leaving tonight for the coast. I really wanted to make this meet but I could not pass up deep sea fishing with my bro.
Maybe if I bring home enough fish the next meet can be a fish fry. Or I can use the 100+ fish fillets in my freezer for a fish fry? Anyone got a big fryer?

 

That does suck, hope she gets better, we'll do it again, we live in the same town.

That would be a tough choice to make too, next time and i'll bring tarter sauce.

NOTE: I'm off saturday fellas so if yall want to meet somewhere once yall get closer to town we can all caravan to the ranch, just let me know.

 

I am about to get off work and will be leaving in 10 min for the coast. Have fun and please take lots of pics.
