I'm pumped to get to Knoxville Saturday. Talked to a guy that used to go to all the UT games, but hasn't been in a few years. He asked if I was wearing red/UGA stuff, I said of course, he said I better be careful and watch what I'm sayin cuz the fans up there like to get a little rowdy if you're not in the GA section. That's no fun. I'm gonna be decked out in UGA stuff, and screamin Go Dawgs and Screw Rocky Top at the top of my lungs.

Anyone wanna come bail me out of jail after someone gets in my face? Lol

No, but seriously...Hearing Rocky Top is gonna be the worst part of the weekend. We're like 11 point favorites...I'd definitely bet on us covering the spread. I think even OUR defense can stop the terrible UT QBs.

 

We're 9.5 point underdogs to LSU. There definitely seems to be a lot of hope and expectation for us to be competitive amongst everyone in Starkville. All of the SEC Cowbell rules are likely to be broken this weekend. I expect us to cover the spread, but to end up losing. Hopefully LSU isn't too pissed off after losing to UGA.

 

Florida isn't up there? They seemed to have had the best defense in the SEC recently.

 

And we've played damn good offenses too. I'm surprised Bama is there with how they got lit up against A&M but I guess those dominating wins against TSUN, Colorado State, and VT were enough to offset that. I know that we haven't adjusted well in our losses but we have been pretty good so far. I'm not sure how our young secondary will do against Mettenberger or how long our front seven can hold up against LSU's o-line and running game. We'll need our offense to show up for this one to really compete.

 

Has Florida played anyone yet? Besides Miami that is.

 

No. Toledo Miami Tennessee Kentucky.

 

And their defensive stats may be skewed because of how sloppy the Tennessee game was. Yea, you still have to force those turnovers, but UTs QBs that day thought they were supposed to throw the ball directly to the guys in Blue.

 

They still put 17 points on the board against the Gators.

 

Interesting stat: UGA has 2 victories over current top 15 teams. The rest of College Football combined has 2. (Clem vs UGA, and Bama vs A&M)

Non story. Even Freeze is downplaying it. I'm not sure how effective he could be without a headset... He'd have to recognize a signal, tell somebody in the press box, who would radio down to the field, and it would have to be signaled to the players... All while Ole Miss ran their cutesy hurry-up offense.

Alabama doesn't need to cheat to be Ole Miss. Ole miss is 1-[every other game] against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. There's a reason.


My favorite part of Saturday's shut-out was stuffing it to the Ole Miss loud-mouth douchebag QB...

We entered the endzone early and often, we sipped tea and had macaroons all the while totalling up a couple points here and there with little to no tomfoolery or shenanigans thus while defeating the cream and whatever color they might have had upon there attire of defeatedness .....so you guys should have no problems.
