LOL I see those very often. But 10k? B16 is only like $2000, what they do to make it fit in a minicooper better be gold

    Squid stands for:

    Stupid
    Quick
    Underdressed
    Imminently
    Dead

It's anyone on any bike, riding irresponsibly. It has nothing to do with the power of their bike or if their clothes match the color scheme.

People have been calling too-fast-under-skilled riders "squids" since at least the time of the original Kawasaki GPZ (predecessor to the original Kawasaki Ninja) came out in circa 1981.

It might have come out before that - but it was really the early 80s when the makers started building wildly overpowered bikes that were approachable enough for anyone to ride.

I'm convinced that meanings and acronyms have been adapted to the term that people were already using, rather than the other way around.

Does Golden 1 have a setup for Fed employees like they do with State when we don't get paid? That's the whole reason I joined G1 back in the mid 90s.

Uhh.. Thanks. I didn't know we were looking for the acronym. This is what my group of motorcycle buddies explained to me. But then again, they could be wrong. They were laughing at that...because we don't ride like that at all. :p

My wife said today would be a good day to go cut firewood in the forest. We already have all of ours from my friend's house, so I won't be up there.

BTW, I guess the county relented on getting rid of that problem forest ranger. He's been harassing firewood cutters lately. Saw one instance where he cited a couple because they only had a 1/4 cord ticket on the wood and he told them that it was more than 1/4 cord. He said just because they chose to not split it in the mountains, that he's measuring it as is (unsplit). That dumbass doesn't even know how to measure a cord of wood! Waste of time for people to have to go to court to have these harassment tickets thrown out.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
I'm seeing this at work too. It's odd though cause not everyone is doing it. I guess our organization put in exempt request for certain individuals.
