seriously. i never use high. it is loud, windy, loud.

anyone? i think a low and a half would be perfect. granted, i dont live in Las Vegas during the summer..is High even necessary?

i was in the SoCal desert all weekend. it got warm, but nothing a brief stay at the second setting couldnt handle.

i only use high to quickly defrost my windshield. it is like a hurricane.

I use high literally every day...the highly humid days here on the south Florida beaches require running the AC on high for several minutes just to get the truck cool. And I have 10% tint all around and 50% on my windshield.

Yep, both on my truck and my sis's truck, at our house in the summer it gets as high as 115 degrees in the summer (in the shade), and this time of year it's in the mid 90's.

I do, with all the humidity where I live. At least for a couple of minutes after starting the truck, then it'll be on the one of the first two settings.

You also have to take into consideration that you have an access cab, and with a smaller interior volume compared to a double cab, yours will cool off quicker. A standard cab will be even better.

In Texas you don't have much of a choice unless you like being hot. Once it's cooled off enough, 3 is normally powerful enough to keep it cool though.

I blast it on high and blowing directly on me. My fiance usually gets cold and shuts her vents which makes my vents blow even harder.

I'm a regular cab guy so I use it occasionally. Prefer to have the windows down, which is nice when it's hot but doesn't stop my back from sweating. If I'm driving around town firing up the AC is nice.

I use high, mine is brand new so no loud noise from it.

Though high on the tacoma puts out medium air compared to high in every other vehicle I've had, but the AC is colder!

A/C high setting? I have homes in Phoenix and Las Vegas that require that setting most of the year. Summer temps 110 to 115 you can only imagine what the temperature in the cab might be.

    Nope; I live in Maine.
The hottest it got here this summer was around 90, with high humidity.
Even at those levels, A/C on medium works just fine.:D
