The best way to build confidence is to let professional people train her (no matter how much you know the same instruction doesn't come as well from people you're close with) and repetition. .22LR is too small and .40S&W+ has too much recoil for consistent carry purpose IMHO. It's too 'snappy' to hammer fire through your mag and keep tight groups on target when you're panic firing which is what you will end up doing regardless of how much you train. Check with local ranges (indoor ideally given the approaching weather) and see if they have competitions and leagues she could get involved in. Competition has a way of quickly growing confidence.

Yeah, I think I have another one that I got for free years ago but I don't think I've ever even used it nor do I even recall where it is at the moment. Maybe my old school one isn't indicative of their current quality but I'll know soon enough and hey, the price is right Jack!

i can give you some pumpkin that we bottled last night, im bottling the apricot blond batch tonight. You would have to let it sit for 2 weeks to bottle condition before drinking it though. yup...got at the TH around 9, got back to the truck around 145..

went up to the falls, then crossed the creek above the big falls to gain better views of the upper falls..led us to do some rock climbing to gain the ridge then found gully along the cliffs to descend and get to the bottom of the large fall at the bottom..then bushwacked our way out and back to the main trail...fun day
