I'm not getting paid to work! And all my bosses are officially furloughed. Now what to do...

 

Real life GTA

 

Police are still working. I don't have my gun on me. And I am still subject to the UCMJ.

 

My mom's stuck 3 hours from home because driving is considered government business

 

Does she drive a GOV vehicle? If so, that's why. I'm not sure otherwise. It's kind of irritating to me. I'm waiting to find out if my bosses are actually furloughed or not.

 

She's in her car but it's considered working time because she was supposed to have court today and then drive back

 

I'm sick of this place. We need to start over with the people we have in office. All offices.

Anyway, what's everyone up to today? Had enough facebook stalking for the week?

 

Aren't you in the military? If so you should be getting payed? Or are you civilian contracted?

 

The tint shop I'm at has the window vents in black for $40. The ones on my truck are a maroon-purple color. Should I get them? I feel like with my windows tinted the maroonish ones I have will look even worse haha

 

I'd say get new ones or just get rid of the vent shades

 

the actual culture of the house needs to be changed more so. they really do need real accountability. Presently they are all rewarded handsomely for absolutely failing at their jobs and road blocking political progress to accomplish some fictional political party/personal advancement. I mean hell, just abolish the parties, so we dont have groups of people backed by a body holding decisions over their head. let each representative choose for themselves and call their own votes, not push the agenda of their party. I also think the positions of office should only be one term. That would prevent people from making decisions solely focusing on reelection. To fix this mess tough decisions need to be made and policies that actually have an impact need to implemented. Everybody wants to fix the mess and imporve our government standing and blah blah blah, but nobody wants to see a change in their own lives.

 

I'm active. I am trying to find the actual wordage of the bill that was passed. It still maintains the word "delayed" if I am not mistaken. It may have been taken out at the last minute though.

 

I'll just remove the shades and if I decide I want some again I'll come buy them another day.

 

I got payed last night like I always do. I'm not with USAA either. The bill that was passed allows no delay in pay.
