    100% agree. I think our society is much to individualistic to get anything kind of reform at the bottom. The majority of people dont want to give up even the slightest for the bigger good and that's over a broad spectrum of things.

    One of my friends put up an awesome post on facebook about the government. If you want to see it pm me. It's not really 'political' but I see someone, whether its for real discontent or most likely to be a that guy, getting their panties in a jumble over it.

    Oh okay, I understand then. Everything I've read about the bill is that this bill prevents exactly that from happening. That, without the bill we could see a delay in pay.

    But who is going to pay us? Most of the people in charge of that system are civilian.. :rolleyes:

    Think for a few minutes. How many people are gone from your work today? Or about to leave? How many times is there an actual military person at the finance, mpf or gym desk? You realize none of these people are mission essential right? They can pass all the damn bills they want, but if no one is around to push the button to pay, then good luck getting paid.

    Pretty sure if the bill does guarantee that we get paid, then the people that issue is pay would be essential personnel, correct. As for people missing from work, I don't know. I'm off today, but if they were to temporarily lay off all of the civilians in our squadrons, we wouldn't have training. And we are currently having training as I speak. I guess we'll se come the 15th. But I honestly think you're overreacting. You have lost no pay so far unlike many others including my father ;)
