Yep we'll that is if it actually snows this year not like the bullshit we had last year. I have a plan to be back in Idaho in two years or so. Yeah I miss the snow and yeah um that is really about it. Oh and not having to drive 80,000 miles to do anythjng

 

Bring your dirtbike and we can hit up the dunes the next day! haha

Yeah, they are stupid easy, just never really thought about it. Maybe cost me 50$

 

Hopefully they work. Been reading some odd things about shackle flips now.

 

Yeah well everyone is trying to do universal flips. Bob has his and they work great for him.

Yeah, most of them can be adjusted for different leaf packs. I will just make mine specific.

 

true... have to bring the wife too... shes the never ending food source for the little one at this point in time....and then theres my wifes violent fear of wheeling that she would have to get over first.....I know...i know... WTF right

Ahhh well the wife is tricky. Gotta work into doing overland dirt road type stuff first.

 

As far as I can tell the only real problem they casuse is lowering the load capacity of the leaf pack (I haven't really looked into it so I don't really know why an inverted shackle can handle more weight a regular shackle) and the 2nd gen leaf packs were designed to work with an inverted shackle. Seems like if you are running a really stiff leaf pack like the Expo pack you are fine, but Joe was running the standard pack which was already to soft for his rig and the shackle flip just made them go right to the bumps in like a week.

Yeah... my wife doesn't do so well with wheeling either... She is really afraid of heights so when there are dropoffs and such to the sides she gets pretty nervous so off camber stuff doesn't help that at all...

 

Yeah originally they were only making flips for certain packs and those were mostly the stiffer packs, maybe they knew that. Yeah and Joe's were just really hard to get the leafs back into.
