    I just hope to get in the woods this season, we are building our house right now. I've already missed opening bow and muzzle loader. The joys of marriage and getting older I guess...

    Well, I didn't see anything last night. I left the woods about 30 mins too early, so I'm sure Goliath walked by right after I left lol.

    Went to a different stand this morning from 6:30-9:30 that overlooks some power lines and saw 3 does. 1 was big enough, but the other 2 were too small, so I just let them all walk.

    I'm going to the same spot this afternoon at around 3 and staying until dark, so hopefully Goliath or one of his little brothers will walk out for me lol. If not, I have no problem taking a doe out just for the meat. I just thawed out the last steak from last season, so right now meat in the freezer is priority. After that, I'll be trophy hunting.
