Finished installing my radio, amp and sub. Figured it was about time to come inside after messing with the settings for an hour or so.

Still have to hide the ground, remote, rca, and speaker wires. As well as actually tune it correctly. Figured I'd be polite and wait until tomorrow to piss others off with the noise haha

For being a shallow mount 10" and a 400rms/700 max amp, it does way more than I expected!

As for the radio, I love it! So glad to be able to finally listen to the music on my phone wirelessly! All I have to do it set the source to bluetooth, and I can control it from the iphone, radio, or remote. And it displays what song is playing and who the artist is. As well as lets my go through the artists, albums, or songs through the display on the radio. I'm amazed by all of the options, and I haven't even accessed all of them yet!

I only got burned once by the soldering iron! But that one time it got me was pretty bad...

I'll have pics and possibly video tomorrow after I clean up the wiring and get it tuned.

I don't really have an excuse other than being too lazy to clean it. To be fair though, it was dirty when I bought it too lol.

Went and bought a Duralast Gold battery since my old battery was nearly 3 years overdue for replacement haha

When I put the new battery in, my computer was idling the motor at 300rpm! The quietest I've ever heard my engine! Haha

Haha yeah, luckily after the ecu learned the motor again it's idling in the high 500's like it should!

The fuse box on top of the factory fuse box came with my amp wiring kit. I'm probably going to move it later on, I plan to get a Blue Sea auxiliary fuse box and put it in that location.

    Here is the wiring kit...

I love sonic electronix. For my amp I used the same ANL style fuse block, but a blue sea version instead. Haven't mounted it down yet though. The 4gauge cable is so thick it doesn't move at all and is slightly elevated off the engine bay lol. Like an air-ride seat for my fuse.

Yeah, they're the only people I buy audio accessories from!

Mine is just held down with some 3M double-sided adhesive strips.

4 gauge wire was impossible for me to crimp! So I basically soldered and used electrical tape to hold the wiring in the connectors haha

I saw your placement for your Blue Sea fuse box and decided I'm going to put mine there when I get one haha

I used a large pair of bolt cutters to crimp mine...haha. Not the cutting side, but I used the stopper side. The part that prevents it from closing so much that the handles touch. I hammered on the crimp a little to get it flat and then used that and it worked pretty well actually.

As far as the blue sea box, it worked really well there actually. I bought a 12 position one a long time ago and can't seem to find it so I used a 6 position one I was planning on putting in the cab. If I ever find the 12 I'll swap it out. Just used industrial strenth velcro to attach it and it's on there very nice.
