So you're contradicting yourself here. Calling most motorcycle riders douchebags because "stereotypes... Exist for the majority of said groups" is your "fact" yet when challenged on it you say that calling someone a DB could "ever actually have facts attached to it". Which is it? Sounds more like an opinion of someone who doesn't generally like motorcycle riders for whatever reason who "supports (the Land Rover's) decision 100%" which in my opinion is a pretty shitty thing to think considering not one of us have all the facts.

    This.

However, on very rare occasion I have ridden with riders who have zero business riding and never rode with them again. A couple of times I've split off because I didn't want to be associated with them.

ZOMG U AZNS R BAD DRIVERZ CAUSE STEREOTYPES R TRU!!

Does this mean I can run you over because your cousin cut me off this morning on the way to work?

Lol. Does the paint dry a different shade than when it's wet?

I dont think the suv was right for running over the biker, he could have called the police or pulled over, left the area. But.... he didnt! Suv driver should be charge. The guy that got hit should be charged, the two or three guys that beat the suv driver should be charged. Just saying all this could have been prevented. But ignorance got the best of both sides.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
So when did I state it is a "fact"? I believe that came from you.
My statement as I said is an exaggeration based off of a stereotype; the original statement was said more or less tongue in cheek, but I don't back down that "most" or to be more internet accurate "a lot that I have had experiences with as well as many others during these rallies".

I have seen the move done by the original biker who tried to slow the Land Rover, so I am familiar with it. When they start beating on my truck with my wife and kids in the vehicle, I'm not taking any chances with those "douche bags".

    Morning all!
I see the debate is lively this morning already!
Just to chime in as someone who loves sport bikes and sold it due to idiot drivers, I think I would have done the same as the SUV driver. Watching the vid, and reading some reports after the fact, the biker cuts off, then slows down in front of SUV (which you shouldn't do since SUVs don't stop as fast as motorcycles) at which point the SUV taps, not rams the back of the bike. Both parties stop, yes the SUV stopped because of the accident, and was then surrounded by a mob that started hitting his car with family on board. He then floored it, taking out some if those in the mob in order to protect family, e.g. Self defense. Then the rest of the video speaks for itself. Why the SUV driver didn't say on the highway and call the cops I have no idea!

    Outside looking in:

Motorcycle guys acted like assholes. Regardless of intent of the SUV driver, they had no right to chase him down. Should have called the cops and gotten the license plate number of the SUV and then stood down.

The reason everybody thinks motorcyclists are "douchebags" is demonstrated in that video very clearly.
