No kidding. I'm sure that dude doesn't do legs. At the gym I work at, there are probably 15-20 serious lifters (that is, people who have been lifting for at least 3-4 years and look it, for the most part). Of those 20-30, there are probably 2-3 that do legs. It's ridiculous. They all wear pants 90% of the time, too haha. I've only been lifting for around 3 years, so mine aren't where I want them to be, but at least they're proportional with my upper body lol. I've put on about 45-50 lbs since I started and I'd say around 25% of that is in my legs. I can't believe I was 145 3 years ago...and that was probably soaking wet lol

Your muscle fiber comp is not selective of your arms or legs haha.

And what are you talking about leg workouts? Carrying the weights for your arms is a leg workout :p

Just curious during full cleans, and deadlifts I get a slight dull pain in my back, kinda like a sore muscle all around the lumbar region. Do others get this?? I thought I had good form but wasn't sure.

Arched back dead lifts = sore lats
Rounded back dead lifts = awful pain in lower back aka SNAP CITY

I've got the sore lats right now. My last workout program didn't have me doing dead lifts, but I did lat pull downs, pull ups, barbell rows, and dumbbell rows...Needless to say, I was working the shit out of my lats. I did dead lifts for the first time Saturday on my new workout program (Doug's 4 Day Split) and my lats are sore as hell...Dead lifts work the back like nothing else, my friend...as long as you keep that back arched and not rounded or slumped over. Same with cleans.

My lats always been nice and sore after deads.

Also I get a good core workout doing legs. Without actually doing situps or anything.

Yep. I think if you do dead lifts and squats each week, ab workouts aren't even necessary. Dead lifts and squats are 2 of the best workouts you can do, IMO

I was more refering to the abs/back extention type exercises for your core. You could be working them to much on those days. On days I do front squat/cleans (usually same day) I now don't do abs and dead lift days I take it easy.

I agree. THe only thing Health had on Kai was back and abs, IMO

EDIT: Looking again, I dunno...Heath might have justly won that one...glad I'm not a judge

Heath is more 'cartoon drawn' than Kai IMO. Kai is/was too blocky...plus, remember this sport is extremely political. How can someone who had sex with a grape fruit be a spokesperson for the IFBB? I just can't see that happening.
