    There's a great vid on TW with a guy getting yanked out of sand...

    ...with his truck still in park.

    His rev limiter was screaming for about 5 or 6 seconds.

    thats the way its done properly. shift at 4k, if your in a muddy slippery hill then you can just hold the peddle at 4k instead of flooring it to the limiter
