    I never really understood why anyone would want to lower a truck anyways. I understand it can give it a cleaner look or something but if your going to spend all that money you should just get a car to lower it. Plus there is not a lot you can do with it, such as hauling stuff or whatever. So why the hell have a truck if you can't haul much with it or go off roading with it? :notsure:

    There ARE other uses for a 4WD truck ya know.:rolleyes: Not everyone jacks them up to the moon, or goes off-roading with it. Some actually just drive it on the road believe it or not. Up north, in crappy weather, a lowered 4WD will be better than a jacked up version. A lowered 4Wd will also tow better due to the lower center of gravity. Maybe the owners were little people...HTFK

    A lowered truck can carry just as much weight as a regular truck. Done right, it's just a lower truck with all the same capabilities.

    Think outside the box a little....

    or a Lightning..but the capabilities are not that of the original or similiar regular truck. And a lowered truck is better in the snow>???? WHERE??

    4*4 lowered = hispanic or half retrard - as stated above

    LOL...and have what you see on every street corner? The Syclone or Typhoon were badass trucks and will STILL put the whoop-ass on most of the street cars out today. They are getting very rare and those that have them aint' letting them go. Try to find a good used one...it's tough.


    A 4WD in the snow won't matter if it's 5 feet deep or not...just depends on where are are trying to go. If you are on the road, a lowered 4WD in the snow will be just as good as any lifted one.

    Keep in mind, a lowering kit does not mean it's going to be laying frame. You can lower it just like you can lift it...just about every level in between. Some of you are making it out to be some slammed, pavement scraper kit. Must suck only being able to appreciate one type of vehicle.
