They do the same thing to Kam Chancellor. He was fined for that hit on Vernon Davis last year in SEA, it was a clean hit.

The league is becoming shit.. I'm all for player safety but they are turning it into flag football.. if a defender touches a player wrong its a penalty and a fine.

It's always funny to me when a player gets traded. Fans who loved him suddenly hate him, fans who hated him suddenly love him. Take Welker for instance; he's a hell of a player. I'm sure he'll do great things for Denver, just like he did great things for the Pats. As a Pats fan, it kills me to watch him using his skills for another team. But that doesn't mean he suddenly sucks. It just means I'm worried about how my team will counter him when they play.

Just like Peyton Manning. I wonder how many of these drooling Denver fanboys spent 11 season talking trash about how much Peyton sucks. Now they think he's a god. He's certainly a great QB, but without a decent offensive line or group of receivers, he's just throwing airballs.

Dislike Tom Brady and the Pats as much as you want. But you can't deny that he's a hell of a QB. Anybody with his record didn't get there without a serious double dose of talent and determination. And anybody who can go 4-0 throwing to a bunch of rookies deserves some credit.

Personally, despite being a lifelong Patriots fan, I don't have much hope of a Superbowl season. Doesn't mean I won't watch the games, and it doesn't mean that I won't cheer for them all season, and then cheer for whoever's playing whoever beat them.

I watched Peyton when he played for the Colts, he was a damn good player when he played there too. I went to a Colts game, lol actually IND/JAX game.

It was tough to watch him come to Denver and beat the Bronco's but he'll play good anywhere he goes and I can respect him for that.

And without a decent offensive line, Brady will just throw airballs, too. So would Drew Brees, or Matt Ryan, or Aaron Rodgers. Unless you're Vick, Kaep, Wilson, or one of the mobile QBs, you can't do much without an offensive line. So that point is moot.

Yea, Brady is throwin to a bunch of nobodies. I've already given him props for that, so don't say I'm just hatin on him.

There's the big rub right there.

Mind you I have liked Welker since his Miami days..and I'm a Pats fan. I could name you a couple of key drops he had that turned the tide of games. That said, I'll always be a fan of him

Best QB this year so far? Sure. Much as I hate the man I respect the ability. Gotta love the noodle arm this year (JK).

Shades of the 2006 season for NE, when they had a great receiving corps consisting of Troy Brown, Reche Caldwell, and a bunch of shitbums. They made it to the AFC title game, and the front office figured that approach could work. Unfortunately, they're at it again.

My guess is Brady isn't too happy after taking a pay cut so the team could re-sign Welker.

Oh i love Welker, hes an amazing player. Ive also been a fan of him since he was in NE. So glad the Broncos picked him up. Just the last few years his hands have become a bit slippery imo

Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks!

    Lol thats pathetic

Just because he said Brady was good doesn't mean he is on your side.. unlike you he isn't garbling on the Brady dick and he's saying other QBs are good as well whereas you just say everyone else is trash.

Mostly everyone is biased to their own team, I am a Dallas fan but there are plenty of other teams who deserve a superbowl win.

Yup, I'm a Steelers fan but I think lots of other players are good. Ill still root against them when they play the Steelers but every other week I like seeing them do good.

That was my point. The other guy said other players were good while 650 says everyone but Brady is trash

Never said he wouldn't. Hell, I spent the first couple games this season watching him do it.
I'm just illustrating the point that there's more to the Bronco's wins so far than just Peyton Manning, is all. Having acquired one of our star receivers certainly hasn't hurt, haha... (I only laugh to keep from weeping)

And my comment about hating on Brady wasn't necessarily directed towards you. More along the lines of addressing some the other comments I've read about the Pats and Brady this season. They've been a very successful team for a lot of years now, and because of that they've developed kind of a Yankees Syndrome.
