I dont have class wednesday or friday so those are usually best for me but lemme know what works

and woman usually sucks up my time on weekends

 

I hit a tree with my passenger side bedside on trail 13 at Rausch. Never fixed it.
I plan on going with a complete overhaul so you'd be welcome to the whole setup if you want.

Just don't know exactly when I'm going to do it.

 

Well, I know exactly what I want do do with the rear setup. It's the front I'm still undecided on.

 

Not sure which coilovers I'd go with... Also debating UCA's...

The rear will be Dakars w/ a banana shackle setup like a former member has.

I happened to have the same ATO flip kit as he does and the setup works well.

 

i have my Dakars sitting in my garage right now… waiting on the rest of the suspenssion to deliver!!!

Screw tc.. You have to swap out the uniballs. Douth south motor sports ftw. Cheaper too.

 

I may be able to make that happen, i'd love to go night wheeling there after I install my new LED bar

I have the SPC LR UCAs - went with them over a uniball for a few reasons -
cheaper
less maintenance
and for my purposes i needed that amount of adjustability (0-+4 caster and a bunch of camber) . Correct me if im wrong but I don't believe that the uniball offerings are adjustable

I dont think the UCA is going to be the limiting factor in your suspension travel with the SPC UCA despite the OE style balljoint, it definitely has more travel than OE, i think by a pretty significant margin.

Im very happy with the SPC one, first time my alignment has been right in years - I think i tweaked a suspension part slightly and the UCA was able to compensate for it

 

I don't think anyone that was at Ants Mod day will be going with LR UCAs lol

Must have been the third generation of LR UCAs, they updated the design, that was a big issue a lot of people had where the washers compressed the bushings so the UCA couldn't pivot and broke at the welds. ^There's a summary of what happened and the generations, but that has been addressed by SPC with this design change that no one has had an issue with to date to my knowledge (in the 4r world)

but yeah, that sucks

yeah, you're right, maybe that guy got it wrong in his post
it looks like the same issue documented in the link i posted, no? Either way, that was a common spot for it to break and the issue is supposedly remedied.

 

Didn't look just making a comment. To each their own tho lol I run TCs and am happy. But I don't wheel my truck much (or really at all) so I have no real offroad experience with either

I'm serious. I want to I just have no where around here and dont really have the money to drive 5 hours to rausch or 6 to Jersey.
