Nike makes special Pro Combat uni's for a few teams a year. In like 2010 I think FSU had them and they were sick. The helmets were black but they shined gold because they had specs in the paint. Idk about those UCLA Adidas ones though. The gloves look cool but the jerseys are horrible

As for my expectation to win, I know it isn't realistic, but as a fan, I can't just give up and expect defeat already. LSU will probably win, but I can't expect anything less of a win out of our team. If I expected to lose, why would I even watch or go to the game? I've previously posted that I don't believe in our team, however I have had a realization that we should be able to win any game we play in. It isn't realistic, but being a fan often requires being ridiculous.

Yea man. The sweet thing about college football is your team can come to play and have a total upset. Only thing worse IMO is jumping on the bandwagon of popular winning teams just because they are winning.

Saw the Spurrier video... Definitely a little drunk. Pretty funny.

We have 5 weeks for him to get back on Saban's good side and back on the team. We won't need him at all until La State, and I guarantee he'll be back by then.

I'm a Bama fan, but when I was in school, I didn't expect us to win. I was there for DuBose last year, the Franchonie years (one was a 10-win season somehow) and and the first two Shula years. I went to every game at home, and all the away games I could. I went in to MANY games hopeing we'd pull it out, but expecting that we wouldn't. I was a realist.

In fact, if we were up going into the 4th quarter in those days, I STILL expected us to drop the game, b/c that's what we did back then.

I don't think it makes you less of a fan to not expect to win. You can hope to see lightning in a bottle and for your team to eek out a win while expecting that it won't happen and STILL be a fan.

    Just my $0.02.

Sad thing is this is tame compared to most of them.

This is the craziest uniform we've ever worn. A school like Oregon would probably think they were blah.

You have a valid point, I just refuse to give up before the game is even played. Too many state fans have simply given up on the team and anticipate LSU to come in and win by halftime. They refuse to even give their own team any sort of chance at winning this game. And the thing that really get's me is that they are okay with mediocrity. That's the crap that I'm tired of. They refuse to hold our team to higher standards simply because we are a perennial cellar dweller in the SEC. We'll never get anywhere with the sort of defeatist bullshit that many fans around here have. Maybe I'm just naive. :notsure:

    Also, keep it classy TSUN
