Dirt King 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Stock Width Lower Control Arms are now available. Our Stock Replacement Lower Control Arms are an excellent upgrade for those looking for a stronger more functional LCA without increasing the track width. These will work on both 2wd and 4wd vehicles. We use custom machined bolts and uniball cups for axle clearance and additional wheel travel. We also replaced the weak factory ball joints with 1" stainless steel uniballs for strength and more articulation. With these arms you have the option of running hydraulic bump stops. Unlike other companies we use Delrin bushing in our lower arms instead of soft urethane bushings which bind and flex when braking. These arms are considerably stronger than stock to withstand the abuse seen in off-roading. Our Stock Replacement LCA's are a direct bolt on part and does not increase track width. These are fully CAD designed, cnc laser cut and bent to ensure a quality fit. Our arms come fully assembled to save time and easy installation.

    Nice!
Nick, any plans for a secondary bypass fitment?

    Good luck with these.

We can have it set up for a bypass shock as well. We choose not to add it since being at stock width the arm is just too short and it will cause you to lose quite a bit of turning radius since the tire will contact the bypass shock. Also figured most people would want to go to an extended kit if they were looking to run a secondary shock so more travel would be obtainable. We will have all of our 3.5" kits (and possibly 2" kits if we end up designing and building them) set up to run a bypass as it will not affect turning radius.

Love the uniball in arm design. I assume you retain the factory ball joint bracket between the factory arms and the spindle?

Yes we use the factory ball joint bracket. With this design we are able to achieve much more ground clearance rather than having the uniball in the block. We will have our long travel kit the same way.

National does good work. We look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions about anything feel free to shoot me a PM or email.

Bump for an awesome manufacturer of such a kick ass product. I cannot speak more highly about such a stand up set of guys making such fine pieces for our trucks. I am still thrilled with my uppers and lowers and I am looking forward to my next wheeling session with these. (After I work out the small kinks out of things that need some attention not suspension related.) I see you guys used one of my installed pics on here. Nice. :D

    Thanks again Dirt King

The uniballs do they require regular lubrication or is this basically a maintenance free operation?
Also how much more NVH could one expect going to these from stock lca?

    Many thx

The uniball still does require regular maintenance as one should expect with any other aftermarket uniball control arm setup. The NVH factor is hardly noticeable. It does provide a more direct feeling, but nothing that I have never not liked. Everyone is different however so your results may vary. I hope that helps.

Already have the truck ripped apart, just awaiting arrival! Question for those using these in the rocks, are they going to take a beating without a care, or would a skid be beneficial. I know TC makes skids for theirs, but it seems that most with aftermarket LCAs don't use them.

I've wheeled the piss out of OEM LCAs without skids on them .. they have taken quite a beating. I don't really understand the need for LCA skids in the first place. I've only seen scratches, never a bent or broken LCA.

Very nice! skids will not be necessary as most rock crawlers purchase these with the intention of being able to bump them into rocks without worrying about them bending like stockers would. The only thing that you will damage on them is that beautiful powder coating paint job. :D
