They are pricey because they are coilovers and I wouldn't ever get internal bypasses because you lose a lot of fluid capacity to make room for the internal bypass so they don't have the cooling capabilities that a 2.5" external bypass would have.

And yep. Mid-travel. Even the defined engineering kit is technically considered mid travel and it is SUA and pulls about 14" of travel.

I'm :jellydance: though! Expos with the pelfrey built relocation hoops is what I would choose for sure if I was staying SOA!

No they are not coilovers, they are 12" IBP with adjusters, he just has them pictured with coil overs

Hmmmm got a link to them? And do they have heim ends on both ends??

I was gonna get some cheap 12s probably to replace my current 10s..but could relocate the 10s and still get good travel.

Yep, he was selling the shocks not the coilovers, it was the only picture or something he had of them... Yea, i'm gonna run SOA with the AP expos till they're dead then re-work the shock setup to work with SUA probably, but that'll be a ways down the road since the expos are working awesome so far!

There isn't a direct link to them anywhere since they're just a longer tube version of what your dad has. It's a 2.0 remote reservoir shock with a heim axle mount and a stem frame mount to work with the stock 2nd gen shock location.

haha, that's what i'm saying, it's gonna be a while! and with the weight i have in the back right now my ride feels pretty close to stock stiffness, not mushy but plush, bottoming out is no problem i'll put it that way and I have the bumps set to bump out just as the expos start to neg arch.

He'd need expos or dakar packs for them to work. I have 1/4 inch of shock left when my bumps stop the expos just at their start of neg arch.

and no problem, i'll likely have no trouble selling them

Mid-travel can perform pretty well if tuned good. I want LT to gain all the extra travel for crawling too.

if you dial in a well setup Mid travel can do really good. can keep up with some LT in certain areas easily. But its not LT..haha there are still limits to Mid travel.

But its the best setup for keeping your truck a full truck. and still very very capable offroad at high speed and crawling.

Lt will just mean faster smoother ride.

For me full LT would allow to push my "dd" past where i'm comfortably willing to go with it. Of course as it sits now I could get in enough trouble but I don't drive it past it's limits and with LT I think the margin of error near the limit gets pretty tight, also no cage for me as it's my dd... I'm just not ready for that exponential change in everything that LT brings. This mid travel will be plenty :D

If i was a 2ng gen..id get either the defined SUA kit or something like what marc is doing, and a TC +2 LT kit. Be perfect all around setup i think.

That said..those that wanted LT orginally and go Mid travel....always end up LT anyways...so..yea. haha

all comes down to what you want out of the truck.

all said and done..ill enjoy leaving you bozos in the Wy dust when im LT and your Mid travel won't keep up :D haha

If I went SUA i'd roll the DMZ kit no doubt.
