    Yep. But SIDs really doesn't have a known cause. They say it can add to the risk of it, but still no known cause.

    Wouldn't sleeping on the back be just as bad? What happens if they spit up at night and choke on their spit? Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

    I know... Don't remember hearing about SIDS when the boys were babies. That's what I thought if they slept on their back :notsure:

    Haven't heard of that one yet.

    We always had a swaddling blanket in the crib with ours when she was still needing to be swaddled. :notsure:

    Supposedly since the "sleep on your back" initiative started SIDS has been reduced by 20% or something like that.

    On the same token, I think sleeping on her back was one contributing factor to a flat spot on Mackenzie's head. So now she's in a helmet for a little while to fix it. Eh, small price to pay I guess for her well being. Like you said damned if you do; damned if you don't.

    Corbin is a stomach sleeper. He is also quite active so we keep the blankets out.

    We put Levi in a wedge type thing to sleep more on his sides when we noticed the back of his head starting to flatten. It all ended up evening out since we rotated both sides of him. Ever since he had enough head strength to lift his own head up or arm strength to do the same we have had him sleep on his stomach.
