What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

That brute force hybrid is really making me reconsider wanting an addicted offroad one.

 

I have an addicted and it is one stout ass bumper just be sure you know you have to weld on frame extensions to get it on which really wont be hard if you have access to a welder!

 

Hahaha no fires, this time. I took all your advice, used bigger wire, and I used a relay and fuse on the power to the switch. Along with a high quality switch, works perfect.

Had to get green!

 

I would crap myself if I had to put just the interior back in.

I relocated my rear shocks yesterday, rides 100x smoother surprisingly, and gave me a surprising amount more articulation.

 

And added the trail spikes to my bumper

 

Did you buy a kit? Did you box the frame in while you were there?

 

Judging by the picture, doesn't look like he boxed in the frame.

Iphewill probably put one seat in it just on a cross bar so he can just peak under the truck to check his lines.

Agreed! No regrets with mine and was cheaper than the TG lopro bumper, but iirc youdont have to extend the frame unless its the 98-00.. I actually cut alot of frame off to tuck mine in as far as possible.. Went all the way to the front body mout

 

I boxed about a 8" section of the frame, and no kit. I had the TG shock mounts on the axle, but the top ones are a 1/4" shackle mounts from work, for locking docks together.

 

If it is right at the crossmember, I think I see it now.

I had to ectend my frame and i drive a 2003, on my year there is no extended frame horn!, your bumper must be huging the shit out of your front end.
