    LOL, looks fun!
Yeah, I haven't paid to much attention to it, since nothing major has come our way.

We went really late into the hurricane season before there was a named storm

But there has been plenty of tropical activity, evidenced by the metric shit ton of rain Florida has gotten. I think there have been only like 10 days this summer that Tampa hasn't been rained on.

Crazy, I was in Florida once, and the weather was weird how it would pour one min, the next sunny and dry.

I can't complain too much though. It rained a lot this summer for here. I swear to god... I've got a permanent high pressure system over my house all the time except for winter

But this summer has been the exception to the rule. I've only had to water my yard maybe 5 times this summer and the temp hasn't even hit 100*.

2 summers ago I had to replace my yard with new sod (long story but the lawn co. I was using fucked it up). I laid it on June 1st and the very first rain that I saw was on July 2nd. Then it didn't rain again until the middle of Sept. That sucked. I remember one time that summer where it was (no shit) pouring down directly across the street and my yard didn't get a drop. I mean... raining sheets of rain. Not a fucking drop in my yard. I was so pissed! Over $3500 in new grass then my water bill was around $200 per month and all I was doing was just keeping it alive. Nothing is better for grass than rain water. Then to top it off it was the hottest summer on record for the state (go figure).

It ended up getting up to 118* that year. We had a fire that day also... Good times, good times...

    Yikes.

Yeah its pretty much been that way for me. I live in the suburbs of Pittsburgh in the South hills area. The city and north of it always get a lot . Also south of me. My grass needs some rain. It's been a while since I've had a good amount of rain where I live. Drives me crazy.

Snow on the other hand, the south hills always gets a little more than everywhere else when we get it, that I don't complain about.

No Colorado pics but we actually did get a good amount of rain here yesterday. It rained almost 1/2" here at the house last night. If I would have know all I had to do was post in this thread to get some rain I would have been posting all the time lol.

I've looked at some of the stories coming out of Colorado... Man..

I've already posted these elsewhere on the site, but I enjoy looking at them. This is Rapid City, SD this past weekend

    http://rapidcityjournal.com/photos/..._57d3cf81-62ff-589d-b74b-5d305e87067d.html#23

I love the one of all the people trudging across the street towards the liquor store, that place is right next to our campus and were no doubt students. We didn't have school friday or today (they needed help cleaning up today). All the city streets were declared closed and to get anywhere you had to hoof it.
