    Well, I was going to buy all the stuff to change out my plugs, oil and do some minor maintenance to the truck this weekend... Then I found out we may not get paid like we had thought. The "pay our military act" that was signed into law isn't worded correctly, and even our own military lawyers don't know if the act is going to allow us to get paid on time. Thanks congress and *****.

    Yep. Then again, it was a good excuse to not drive down to Salem to go to the pumpkin patch today. It's a 5 hr drive one way... and my mom doesn't tell us about these "family outings" until the day before. It would be nice to have a week notice.
