Honestly, with the number of people living paycheck to paycheck in this country, I'm really surprised there hasn't been some crazy shit going down yet. There's not much scarier than a desperate person with lots of time to think and nothing to lose. I certainly don't mean that directed at you, just a general comment about the situation. I do think it's really wrong the way they're fucking with so many peoples' livelihood!

Seriously, though. Have you ever swam in the ocean in Maine? It's 50 degrees in August.
That's what riding in a rainstorm is like around here in October. Except there's windchill.
It leads to some pretty significant shrinkage.

 

There was that lady that got shot after ramming the barricades outside of congress the other day. She had a history of mental trouble, sure, but something made her snap.
Then there was that guy that self-immolated at the national mall yesterday.

The longer it goes on, the more we'll see, and probably the worse they'll get.
