I have the fx-r stage 3 and got the 9006 relay harness. Is this the wrong harness? Can I modify the input trigger easily or should I contact the retrofit source?

Rich, Is it possible to hardwire an H4 connector in place of the 9006 input trigger to get my truck up and running while I wait for the H4 relay from TRS?

It looks like I have 2 wires running into the trigger on the 9006 harness. Are these the same 2 wires that would be going into the H4 connector?

I guess it would be possible but you'd have to also cute your H4 harness, just google the pin layouts for both

The projector seems pretty close to the face and the housing is a lot smaller than the 2nd Gen. Plus, unless you are doing the FX-R, the 55w ballast is not advised. It WILL melt the H1, and there have been some reports of it burning the chrome off of the D2S reflector.

Auto manufacturers use 35w... good enough for The Ultimate Driving Machine, good enough for me.
The 9006 is a single-pair system. Unless it's a combination 9005/9006 harness for a set of four projectors, it's not going to work.

Hey fellas, anyone know if i can paint my headlight plastic pieces with PLASTI DIP?
I am not good with spray painting.... i figure if i use plastic dip, i cant do that bad of a job at spray painting it, since these stuff gives off a texture, so no bubbles and what not to worry about.

And they just released the "Full Spectrum" line. I plan on painting the bezel and shroud to electric lime green, and everything else black.

But unsure if it will hold up inside a sealed headlight.

I wouldn't trust dip in the housing.
And be careful on the green. Another member did red and his truck looked stoned.

I been searching on few forums about plasti dip... there are a few people who used it, and it is holding up fine from their report......

DYC has 22% off this weekend.... and i LOVE GREEN.
I was going to get the GECKO GREEN color from automotivetouchup, but they are $19.99 a can.... so i figured if plasti dip works, then it will be nice and cheap.

I plan on painting bezel and shroud Green
    Reflector bowl in black.

    And my truck is WHITE.
I also plan on painting my grill surround to Green too lol

    PS: I LOVE Green lol
