Throw some poly bushings in there while you're at. It's worth the $30 and Stiffens up the steering quite a bit!

I would but my head on my 4runner just took a shit... The previous owner must've stripped out the threads where the spark plug screws into and tried to replace it with a helicoil and completely blew out the spark plug. Now I'm on the search for new heads or possibly even a new motor..... Hopefully new heads:D

It shouldn't take you that long! I've done two rack and pinion jobs by myself and took me 3 hours:)

Yeah I just used a 12mm wrench. Fluid will come out but you're gonna have to rebleed the system anyways. Don't forget to mark all of your steering components so you can line it up straight again!

So I walked out to my truck the other day and noticed that my sliders were getting rusty.:notsure:
Turns out that when my friend and I painted them we missed the sides facing the truck. They were painted before they were put on the truck so they were facing down and they didn't get much paint.
I never noticed this in AZ but I assume now that I'm in Tennessee they are constantly being exposed to moisture.

You can imagine that I was less than happy so I ran to walmart and got some more Rustoleum and BAM.

I know what you mean. I'm on a few Honda forums and a few motorcycle forums and there are never meet n' greets, mod days, or anything close to it. They are rather boring and don't have a ton of useful info like TW does.

Its really a Toyota Truck and SUV thing. Every one I have been on someone is always willing to help you with either answers or give you a hand if needed. Landcruiser, 4Runner, FJ, Toyota Pickups every time I have hung out with these groups and been on their sites everyone has been welcoming. Hell I used to be on a invite only site and even those hardcore guys were cool and answered my questions. Also Toyota Is really supportive with people moding their rigs. Hell at the FJ summit (200 Toyotas) TRD is there and everyone of the engineers are there asking/answering questions and they gave a way S/C in the raffle. Jamie and I were talking about the support at the last meet.
