    ya, now that ive actually been thinking about, ive been lookin around seein what I can find, im just going to end up selling this truck and buy a 4wd one, I just wasnt really thinking all too much about the whole conversion thing, gonna keep my tires/wheels and spacers tho from the truck, my tires are practically new with less than 100miles on em

    Ill see what I can find for 1st gens, but really I would rather get a 2nd gen, I like the look of them better

    lol. 2nd gens had a weird reverse grown-on effect on me. I liked them at first, but the more I looked at them the less appealing I thought they were. 1st gens are much better looking to me (plus they are smaller and weigh about a 1000 lbs less). To be honest though, I think the early 90s trucks were the best-looking Yotas to date. I would have bought one instead of a Taco if I could have found an extra cab 4WD that didn't look thrashed. They're scarce as hen's teeth though. Still, I'm happy with my Taco and the quad-cam 24v 3.4L seems like a nice bonus compared to the 3.0L 12v push-rod engine that the earlier trucks had (at least I think it was a push-rod engine). Probably not as nice as the 4.0L in the 2nd Gens, but then that's probably eaten up with the 1000 lbs of extra weight they push around. :p

    Edit: ya just can't beat this model for pure looks...

    That one is currently SAS'd on 35s I think. A chick owns and built it. Pretty awesome. She has a build thread here. Her member name is H-bomb.

    In a perfect world, I'd have one, SAS'd, on 39.5" Boggers. :cool: Of course, I would like to do the same thing with my Taco if a huge bag of cash just happens to fall into my bed as I'm driving down the road, lol.

    that 05 is lookin real nice, main issue, I still have this loan to pay off...but I really do want that 4x4, that one also has the rear diff lock as well

    Basically just save all the jack you were about to lay down upgrading the prerunner and hold on to it for a year or so until you're right side up on the loan then trade that sucker in on a 4WD with either the mod money as a down pay or save it to start in with the mods on the 4WD. I know it'd be tough waiting, but it'd get ya where you want to be. :cool:

    Unless, of course you find a dealer that will work something out with you so you don't end up with a butt load of $$$ tacked on to the new loan (current loan pay off less what they give you for trade in). That's an ugly place to be.
