    The better coast
    6k?

I would hate to buy it then want to build it in to something "my own" but stuck because I sunk money into it and don't want to take the hit.

not many people want to ride like a tank and want/need the resi and coilovers. OME is cheaper for a reason. They ride like tanks and are bright yellow.

Oh wait, are billie 5100's better then because they are silver?

Having never had the opportunity to ride in a tank I can't make the association. What I can say is, I really enjoy the ride, I don't miss the serious nose dive under hard braking, I like that I paid $900 for 3" of suspension lift and it's OME which is a really good suspension that was built to specs from the design of a pretty solid company. Ok, it's yellow and IDGAF because it does what I expect it to.

If you're going to drop $6k on a suspension system and think you'll be able to do the "pre running, raptor style offloading" because you've got remote resi's, fancy trailing arms and UCA's in a $40K SUV I can guarantee the $6k suspension will be the least of your worries after your first trip.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Its amphibious! look its got the gills right there! now the 4runner really is ALL Terrain..

^^ tomtom ^^ i think they drank the fluid that came out of my 81 the last time it croaked..

If it wasn't for the gills on the front bumper i would like it a lot more, i wonder if its a trim deal and different models will be available that dont breath under water?

My first thoughts. That being said, I like it. A lot more than Brandon Carter or anything else involved with Texas Tech.

Sadly, it's not a photoshop... straight from Toyota's site.

Hell no! :D The wife loves driving the taco cause it makes her feel "cool" so now she wants a 4runner. We're gonna trade in her Sienna SE for the 4runner.

Finally blew the motor at 230,000, sprung for a Jasper with 100,000/3 year warranty. The birdpig has a new set of wings! OME heavy load lift kit, Dakar leafs w/AAL, frame mounted energy suspension 4.5" bumpstops, 882 coils, nitrocharger sport shocks, trail gear sliders, addicted offroad front bumper, KC 130w daylighters, Warn M8000, 31" BFG KM2's, custom dents and Nevada pinstripes.
It looks like a Honda passport had a threesome with a Nissan frontier, and ford ranger with an ugly long travel fender kit, and this is the Hondas bastard child.

toyotas really dropping the ball. they are being lazy and complacent again.

just like the tacoma 12 year change, nothing is different, nothing significant has changed.

what, change the front end look, throw some different mirrors and steering wheel and its all brand new?
engine still the same, transmission still the same, rest of the body and frame is still the same etc.

tundra, tacoma and now 4runners have been the same in their current generation.

    what a shame

    Suggestions?

There's only so much you can do with 4 wheels and a box.

I wouldn't be buying Toyota if drastic changes were made every year. If its not broke don't fix it. I'm sure it doesn't pay off trying to change everything every year. Not to mention tons of potential problems and lawsuits when a new model comes out.
