I started there in 1994 and left in 2004. I'm actually headed up there tomorrow for a cord of Juniper and to help my folks winterize their place. It was a year ago when I hit a deer outside of Susanville and did 9k in damage to the Taco, I was on the same mission! FYI..My sig pic is at Lily Lake in the Warner Mtn's if you know the spot

I'm actually not familiar with the area, I was a friend of the firefighter who died during training at the backbone fire in 2009, he was working out of Modoc.

Really sorry to hear that. I am pretty sure I know the young man you are talking about, if it was a helicopter rappelling accident? Out of respect, I dont want to say his name but I have a lot of friends that were with the family for the ceremonies. Damn, sorry for the loss! When we lose folks in this job it really hits all of us hard, We also make it a point to never forget.

Alright I followed everyone except Stan, can't find you. Pulled AC up out the Integra, played Killing Floor almost all day. Sigh, best way to spend the weekend.

No, I know it wasn't a 4x4 because I looked for the switch. But it did seem high. Maybe a prerunner?

Actually you know what.... If my friend gets off around the time I do, I might be going there again today (helping my friend buy a car through my friend) and I'll take a pic of the sticker. But she said that she's comfortable with my guy now and that I don't have to be there with her.

Yup:) I'm taking Billy's front and rear from his truck. He's going to sand blast and paint them for me. He's also going to make some additions to the rear so it's like Alex's. I was going to just order them new but he gave me a deal I couldn't resist. I'm hoping to get them before Christmas. What exactly did you get?

Pretty much what Alex has on his truck. HC with side tubing, swing out with tire/fuel carriers. Mine has square backup cutouts for LED's though.
