There's a 69(?) GTO at the high school near our house that's staying with them while the kids in auto shop get to work on it, looks pretty stock 'cept the paint job, it's pearl white with lucas oil (or lucas racing) badges painted on.

 

Yessss. Those(along with the earlier chevelles 66 etc.) are way more badass than the models that come after. But nobody can deny the badassness of the 70 chevelle and GTO

The 70 chevelle is one of the sexiest muscle cars of the time.

 

My uncle use to have an older convertible kinda like that one but i think it was white. now he has a older one thats a hot top, i think it’s like candy apple red or some kinda red.

My brother hit me with it car one night in a parking lot..........


ok maybe i hit him with my body..... it was snowing and the parking lot was slick as hell. well i stepped off the side walk to got get in the car, and i slid and one leg kinda went under the car, one hand on the corner of bumper and one hand on the hood. oh best park there was like 8 people in the parking lot that saw it and freaked the hell out. I was laughing so hard i was crying and just got up and got in the car like it never happened. my buddy and brother both about pissed there pants.

 

If I was getting an old muscle car it would be one of these



But the old ones cant match the 400hp AND 26 MPG that the new muscle cars offer.

 

I feel bad for them just going down the road.

 

Yeah even though our trucks (non TRD models) are technically 2wd, just having power to the front makes a huge difference.

I always laugh when they say they can go anywhere a 4x4 can go, it just takes a better driver.
