Had a burrito with bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers for dinner.

Personally i like to put them over a nice salad or anti-pasto. I also freeze some plain and put them in a red sauce over pasta. I have sliced large ones like 1/4 inch thick and just fried m up in butter. I've also taken them and fried them up crispy, add salt and eat like patato chips. I'm sure there's lots of other ways to do them. I use them around the holidays for gift's and like to trade them for stuffed peppers and such. There is another that i go for but have not seen any yet, a true mushroom not fungis. The yellow and brown oaks, buttons. They are great sauteed up on a nice steak. Very flavorful. Like most Italian families, it's all about the food..lol. Here's a pic of the oak mushrooms. Last season , i got a couple of hefty bags full of these. You need to be a little more careful going after these as there are a couple imposters that could make you sick. Not deadly but not fun. They say to identify positively atleast three times before consuming any. I have read several books before i actually went out looking. I spend alot of free time hunting when i can and this just gives me something else to do out there.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention. All the research i have done about them states you should only consume a small amount the first time as some people can have bad reactions. Must go easy till you know your limits, just like wheeling and everything else i guess...haha

Worked my shift today, and got overtime tonight. While we are talking about food. Today for lunch we had fresh caught striped bass and for dinner tonight was roasted venison tenderloin wrapped in bacon. I'm full and tired but pushing to stay awake atleast past last call until all the nut's are safe and sound at home.

 

I've eaten at Chipotle once, don't think I've seen the other place around.

 

I prefer qudoba over chipotle. They have more options and an easier to figure out menu

 

I fucking love chipotle

 

I love striped bass. Great to fish for and awesome tasting fish.
