    the pro 2 use to be 4 cyl till last year actually. and manual gear box.

    no idea on the V8s. They scream tho. Think they us a 3 speed now.

    Been there multiple times :D Crandon is only a few hours from where I used to live in WI. That's a fast track and the pits are open which makes walking around fun. My uncle used to race in the sportsman class and usually did really well.

    Holy shit you get 70 mpg?:p haha. Those numbers would probably be pretty close to what I got as well. 35 doing 5 more mph at about the same rpm as you.

    So to prove the point that not all 35's are created equal. Using my GPS cuz i dont trust my speedo when im doing 75 mph on my 35 12.50R15 mtz's im at 2800 rpms and with my 35 12.50R15 MTR's im at 2700 rpm at 75mph.

    Waiting for brady to whip out his calculator and go oh those numbers aren't right.. but infact they are cuz it's reall world testing

    i think you're making the right choise going two gear ratio jumps for two tire size jumps it's what i and hundreds of others that sill street their trucks and roll on 35s have done..

    Thanks for the info! Yeah, I'd rather be slightly under and still cruise at 70mph than go overboard and be running high rpms at 70mph.

    Well that's a given. haha Just like how Monte runs about 150 rpm higher than what it says. Tire wear plays into it, as well as air pressure in the tire as well as starting height. There are very very few tires out there that are really as tall as they are listed. Almost all tires are up to about 1/2" shorter than what they say they are. I've seen some tires that are over an 1" shorter than what they are labeled.

    Take my tires for example. They are supposed to be about 33 1/4" tall. Brand new at 35+ psi they measured 33" tall. at 20 psi they measure about 32" tall and at like 10 psi they measure about 31" tall. Now that they are worn those numbers are even lower. I went from being about 9% over on my speedo to about 8.7%.
