    CDF would be fun to work for if they didn't get laid off. I finally have a full time job.....even though I'm working for free right meow

    that sucks. I just hit one at about 50mph a few weeks ago. didn't even leave a scratch though. I don't know how the hell that happened. I hate driving hwy 96 between yreka and happy camp. there are dozens of deer. I need to invest in a beefy bumper though

    Yes It's the Apex Front Bumper and I had to slightly modify the bumper's lower mounting valance to accommodate installing the Bud Built Front Skid Plate back into place.

    I have definitely seen your Runner around town, do you have a wife/girlfriend that drives it sometimes? my truck pretty much lives in the parking garage downtown, Im always at work!

    True. I did 6 years with CDF in Mendocino Unit. Including 3 on the copter. C101 out of Howard Forest.

    Most fun I've ever had at work! But 5 months a year doesn't quite pay a mortgage.

    Took a job with SFFD last July. Love it, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the hell out of fire season.
    Every time a veg fire pops off I start to get all nostalgic. I carry a McLeod in the bed of my truck just in case :p
